Our employees ensure that our services are carried out in a correct manner and to everybody's satisfaction. That is why they represent an important contribution in our organization. It is not too difficult to be of service once, it is more difficult to sustain a high level of service or improve the level of service given. The later is only achievable with professional knowledge, and the efforts of our motivated employees.

We are proud to introduce you to a number of our professionals:

Erik van Loon
(driver of Industrial gasses);
"I've been with Jongeneel for 12 years now. Although I'm employeed full time I only visit the premises once a week to offload cylinders. The rest of the week finds me on the road for Air liquide. I love the freedom and variety of the job, and give 120% so that my customers are happy."

Edwin de Vos
(driver tank transport);
"I came to the company via work experience. The job appealed to me and the company is situated close to my home. The thing I like most is the variation. As a "fall in" (spring) driver I'm sent to many different places. I like tank transport the most, it's a specialized area that requires me to keep my wits about me!

It was e.g. a nice experience to travel down to Italy with a colleague not so long ago. We had to put the lorry on the train which was something special"

Mirjam Verhoef - van der Reijden
(mechanic);
"I've been with Jongeneel exactly seven and a half years now in the garage. One of the nicest things in my work is that every day is different. I often have to take to the road and my day is full of the unexpected. A good working atmosphere is very important to me, and I can assure you that we have one here. My duties consist of servicing the lorries and inspecting them prior to an MOT. The men do all the heavy work.

I met my husband at Jongeneel, we were brought together via a colleague. On our wedding day we were surprised by a lorry which had been especially decorated for the occasion ."

Bart Hartveld
(planner);
"Officially I have been with the company since 1st October 2004, but I've worked here much longer. Whilst studying I often worked at Jongeneel. I'm now on the planning department and enjoy the work. I have a lot of contact with both the lads and with the customers. It's a new challenge every day to plan the trips as efficiently as possible. I'm glad to say that our lads all have the right attitude and don't moan if they have to work a bit late, I'm glad about that as moaning I don't much care."

Cor van der Kroft
(driver food stuffs);
"Its important to me that the boss does all he can towards making my work feel like my hobby. Up to now that's always been the case and I've been with the company about fifteen years. I have more people contact since I've been working for Hoogvliet, and that suits me fine. It's nice to see the moves people make just to come along to my lorry. My challenge is to deliver everything correctly and at the end of the day know I've done my best."
